Our Mission

To provide a safe meeting place to assist those persons suffering from the disease of alcoholism, and to promote the recovery, rehabilitation, and prevention of alcoholism.

We hold a variety of daily non-denominational recovery meetings, both in-person and online, for alcoholics, addicts, families and visitors.

SCFC offers Annual Memberships for $100 per year.

30 days of Sobriety is required to become a member.

The most important benefit of membership is the knowledge that you are helping to keep the doors open to other alcoholics who are still suffering.

Membership fees are separate from 7th Tradition donations. Membership fees support the long term operations and goals of the Club while 7th Tradition donations support individual meetings and daily Club operations.

SCFC is a 501(c)(3) non-profit corporation dedicated to providing a safe space for recovery.

Our Mission: To provide a safe meeting place to assist those persons suffering from the disease of alcoholism, and to promote the recovery, rehabilitation, and prevention of alcoholism.

More about SCFC

The California Corporation is managed by a volunteer Board of Directors. Each Member of the Board is listed on the bulletin board in the hallway of the Club.

The Directors are voted into their positions by the membership. Members must have 30 days continuous sobriety. Members must be current on dues or membership fees to vote. Members are encouraged to attend the annual membership meeting on the 2nd Sunday of July. Board Members are required to have 3 years continuous sobriety.

Monthly Board Meetings are held at 5:30PM on the 2nd Sunday of each month with exception of May in honor of Mother’s day. These meetings are open to all current SCFC registered members. Members are encourage to attend monthly Board meetings to share their questions, ideas or concerns.
